Celtic’s u-19 match with Hamilton Accies tomorrow at Bo’ness will be subject to an early morning pitch inspection ahead of the 11am kick-off.

***UPDATE- MATCH POSTPONED****

Four of the six weekend u-19 fixtures have already been postponed including the Motherwell-Hibs match at nearby Bathgate which leaves just the Accies-Celtic and Rangers-Kilmarnock matches going ahead.

Hoops coach Stevie Frail has been preparing his side for business as usual tomorrow and is keen to build on the better aspects of last week’s 3-1 win over Motherwell.

“We’ll be in at the park early on Saturday and will prepare for the match as we normally would,” Frail revealed. “Hopefully the game will go ahead but if it doesn’t then we’ve got plans to deal with it.

“There was a lot of positives to take from the Motherwell match last week and also a lot for us to work on. The goals were pleasing and there was a lot to be encouraged with from our play in the first half.

“The players set high standards and are keen to maintain them and to learn. If the game goes ahead we’ll adapt to the conditions and treat the match on it’s merits. We learned a few lessons in our last away match against Hibs about how to play in difficult conditions.”

Willie McStay appointed Ross County manager.
