Cha Du Ri Celtic newsCha Du-Ri has declared himself fit and available for Saturday’s SPL clash with Inverness Caley Thistle.

The full-back hasn’t played a competitive game for Celtic in three months but is desperate to play his part in the run-in to the SPL title race and Scottish Cup bid.

Last Saturday’s appearance against Athletico Bilbao proved to be the perfect tonic with the Korean looking forward to pulling on the hoops again.

“It’s not easy for a player when they get injured and have to watch from the outside- especially a cup final,” he told the Celtic View.

“We lost a very big match but I’m sure the players will remember this feeling and we’ll fight to make sure that we’ll never have it again.

“We still have a chance to win the Scottish Cup and the league. The most important one is the championship so we have to make sure that it’s in our own hands.

“There is one more game against Rangers which we have to win to put us in pole position.”

Cha added: “I’m happy to be back now and I want to help the team, I’m ready, I’m fit and everything is good again. I’ll be ready for Inverness if the manager picks me.

“I know that I will have to fight hard to get back in the team, Mark Wilson has played very well since I left for the Asian Cup.

“He’s scored important goals and been a great player for us but now that I’m fit I have to show the manager I can get back in the team.

“He will make the decision about who is better for the team. I will fight hard in training and then we will see what happens.”
