SPL Celtic newsCeltic’s Christmas Eve fixture at home to Kilmarnock will kick-off at 1.30pm rather than 3pm.

The switch has been agreed by both clubs for what is traditionally the poorest weekend of the season in terms of attendances.

Celtic’s second trip of the season to Tynecastle, scheduled for January 28 has been postponed due to the League Cup semi-finals being played over that weekend.

The SPL’s pilot scheme of Friday night football will continue on December 2 with Motherwell taking on Hibs at Fir Park.
