Patrik TwardzikFilip Twardzik opened the scoring for Celtic with a fourth minute header from Paul George’s corner at Kilmarnock today.

Tony Watt doubled Celtic’s lead midway through the first half with an opportunist strike from ten yards out.

Patrik Twardzik scored on the stroke of half time from a Callum McGregor pass shortly after Darnell Fisher had replaced the injured John Herron.

Ten minutes into the second half a shor cum cross from the left by Patrik slipped through the home keepers hands. At the other end Robbie Thomson saved a penalty but Killie pulled a goal back in bizarre fashion when a block challenge on a Filip Twardzik clearance arched over Thomson into the net.

Patrik restored Celtic’s four goal lead with a great shot past the keeper from a Watt pass.

That name “Paul George” just keeps coming up doesn’t it? Either a goal or an assist. How long till he breaks through to the first team?
