Shameless Hearts wants to go on signing spree

Tynecastle ParkShameless Hearts are set to go back to the SFA in a bid to sign players to beat the drop to The Championship.

While other clubs like Partick Thistle and Ross County pay their debts to society and offer players affordable wages the Edinburgh side want to go on a spending spree while creditors wait to find out if they will be offered a pennies in the pound deal.

Hearts went into administration in June immediately sacking some office staff but were allowed to sign Danny Wilson from Liverpool.

Now, rather than attempt to stabilise the club for the possibility of CVA, their administrators BDO want to spend money on footballers even though the club seems doomed for relegation.

Explaining their request to relax their signing ban Bryan Jackson of BDO said: “We’ve put all the arguments forward and, not surprisingly, they’ve all been rejected. Nothing is going to change with regard to the sanctions and I feel really sorry for Gary in that we can’t help him.

“We’re sticking with Gary and hopefully Gary’s sticking with us. He’s shown fantastic loyalty since we went into administration and we have to show the same to him.

“Everybody knows he’s a Hearts man through and through – quite frankly to even think of changing management at this time, with the squad of players we have, you’d have to be some kind of miracle worker.

“Gary’s doing incredibly well with the resources he has. Anybody else coming in is going to have exactly the same resources.

“That’s a major decision and something to be considered for the future. That would be for new owners rather than the administrators.”

Hearts decision to delay administration until June has been heavily criticised with the move ensuring that the club remained in the top tier.

If they had declared themselves to be in administration a month earlier Dundee would have retained their place in the SPL which became the SPFL Premiership.

Just another example of corruption in the Scottish game!

NOTHING will change until there are people in office who aren’t stained by association to first rangers or any given lodge!

    Good article,Joe.

As you say, other clubs ” have to pay their
    debts to society. ”

Other clubs work to an affordable, financial framework.Hearts have arsed it
    up.
Like their orange brothers at Sevco, they
are two cheeks of the same arse.( to use a
    g.galloway classic phrase. )

Now the head bummer at BDO, Jackson
wants sympathy for poor hearts and their
    plight.
    They have a cheek.

Like their counterparts, at Ibrokes, they
    are now a toxic brand.
    Show some humility, like Dunfermline.
They worked hard through a CVA, and
    avoided liquidation.The Pars fans deserve
great credit for now owning their club.

hearts will be lucky to survive, in any shape or form. The creditors in Lithuania,
    may well want tynecastle sold.

  • John Longcock says:

Huge flaw in the article as Hearts had lined up 2 players who were going to play for free. This was to help some of 17 year old boys who are playing every week.

Only an idiot would compare the Sevco situation with Hearts. It appears the similarities are being drawn from bigotry rather than an understanding of the situation.

    • Joe McHugh says:

Cut out the sob stories, pay your creditors then sign who you like, pay them £10k a week if you like.

Every win since Romanov took over is as tainted as the EBT years at Ibrox, achieved by paying wages while shafting others.

    • Monti says:

The only ‘flaw’ is between your ears, John smallcock!

    • peter says:

      John,

      Phoney name like your club.
Your the idiot. As your club and Sevco
      lived way beyond your means.

So to an accountant, like me,you are both
2 cheeks of the same ARSE !!

NO DIFFERENCE, you both OWE hard working, honest people money.

You talk bigotry, that it something YOU and
SEVCO are well VERSED IN !!

Swinecastle should have been CLOSED, after ONE of your BIGOT fans attacked
      Lenny.

As I said, creditors will SELL your cesspit of
      a stadium, to real estate.

  • Danny says:

Plenty good Jambos around who have taken this on the chin and who dont want any change in the current punishment, id say that by and large they have handled this with dignity and certainly have taken a very differenet stance to Sevco.

As an Edinburgh Tim I can tell you thast they are not 2 cheeks of the same arse, my jambo mates hate the orange jambos, and call them huns without the bus fare, thay have a few idiots but then again so do we. So lets have a bit of balance guys! They wont get anywhere with an appeal, the issue had to be dealt with and it was, they have an under 20 team who are not good enough yet for this level, so they will have to go down with Sevco, that is punishement enough. So deal with it Hearts!

  • buffythecat says:

Hearts sneered in the faces of Scottish football when they won the Scottish Cup in 2012 playing players they couldn’t afford. Mocking their Edinburgh rivals over the Cup they have never won in 100 years. Their shame and cheating knew no bounds and now they are courting sympathy from anyone without a memory.

Hibs have always paid their way and lived within their means. They may not have won the Scottish Cup in a while but they would never cheat their way to one like the toxic Hearts. . .and Sevco f.c.

    Let them go to hell.

  • Monti says:

If Hearts get liquidated ( hopefully ), could Rod Petrie the Hibs chairman, not buy Hearts history?
This would mean Hibs name would be on the Scottish cup 🙂

  • Monti says:

I remember Hearts fans booing the minutes silence at Hampden, for the late, great John Paul II!

Liquidation day for Hearts would be welcome!

    GIRFUY’S

  • buffythecat says:

Simples. . .it was good enough for the toxic Sevco f.c to buy the history of a DEAD club in Govan with all the tainted titles they had amassed before they died so in fact Rod Petrie could do the same. Whether he or the Hibs supporters would like to be a part of anythinf so toxic and shameful is another matter.

Sevco / Hearts Two cheek’s of the same arse. . . I like that!

  • John Longcock says:

Hearts fans accept the punishment and relegation – this is about not trying to ruin young guys careers before they even start.

Wanting Hearts liquidated is short sighted – although it’s understandable as Celtic see no value in competition.

As for the Pope comments – seriously!!! I think you might want to get your own house in order. Alex Thomson’s blog is a good starting point.

    • buffythecat says:

Not all Hearts fans want to accept the punishment and shameful relegation. Your own, Billy Brown never accepted the DEATH of Rangers f.c. 1874 – 2012: and thought they should have been treated as a special case as indeed he thinks that Hearts should be treated in a similar way.

As for not trying to ruin young footballers careers before they start Hearts should have thought about that before bringing in the ‘big boys’ to cheat their way to toxic success.
The young lads are only an afterthought now that the proverbial has hit the fan/ fans.

Liquidation is looking very likely regardless of who wants it or not. Celtic see no value in TOXIC competition is really what you meant to say. As all REAL footballing competition is always welcome.

Looks like a whole new supply of Ice cream and Jelly is called for this summer.

    • Monti says:

I prefer Sevco & Hearts….two arses with the same cheek!

Would you like a bowl sir? 🙂

      • peter says:

        Monti,

I like that one as well.

This longBOTTOM character is making a
right ARSE of himself on here !!

How does the Proclaimers song go ,
        TYNECASTLE NO MORE !!

  • Tague Boheme says:

I haven’t read Thomsons blog but according to twitter timeline he is smearing the whole support because of the behavlour of a few.

    • John Longcock says:

That’s exactly what 90% of the comments on this article are doing!

All the ‘orange’ and ‘cousins’ is tedious. Who still comes up with nonsense.

Celtic fans clearly don’t understand the difference between liquidation and administration.

At the end of the day the premise of the article is nonsense, apparently Hearts are going on a spending spree but going into liquidation at the same time.

      • peter says:

        Buttocks,

Go back to your Gorgie slum sites.

Joe’s article is about wanting to break
        rules ( again ).
What do YOU not understand about
        that ?
Whether you like it or not, orange cousins is a FACT !!

Yes,we know you are in Administration
( by cheating ) and the NEXT step will be
        LIQUIDATION.

So bye,bye as you can’t buy buy,

New flats coming SOON down gorgie way.

      • Monti says:

        Albert Kidd 🙂

        Aaah memories…..

        • peter says:

          Now that is CLASSY, Monti.

I didn’t know where you you were
          going with that one.

I remember that day well. I was on the
pitch at the end ( we were allowed ) ,
We played football the Celtic Way,that
          day.
While up at dens, the tears were flowing,as the jambos caved in.

          1986 – A VINTAGE YEAR.

      • Monti says:

Are you sure it’s exactly 90%?
You currents aren’t the best at doing the figures, are you? 🙂

  • john. says:

    Two points .
Thomson’s blog is one of the most inaccurate and poorly written pieces of ill researched mince I have ever come across. Hard to believe that it came from the hand of a much respected journalist.
I have often taken issue with the myth that sectarian conduct is the province of the West of Scotland and in particular of the Celtic and Rangers support. As proof of my opinion I have cited the conduct (anti Catholic and anti Irish) of supporters from certain other clubs in Scotland.
It probably comes as no surprise when I tell you that the support of Hearts are right at the top of that list. There is a nasty, vile element in their support and I take great pleasure in looking forward to them meeting their Ibrokes cousins in the wee league next season. I f they survive at all that is.

  • Monti says:

Was considering getting a Vladimir Romanov tattoo done……next to my Craig Whyte one 🙂

  • jimbo102 says:

I’m sick to death of hearing about poor Hearts young team, they are no younger than Partick Thistle’s or Dundee United’s teams.
They should shut the fcuk up and along with their goat cuddling cousins from Glasgow be thankful that they are still allowed to kick a ball.
If there was any justice, both these clubs should have went the way of Third Lanark, Clydebank and Gretna but as long as the corrupt, biggoted SFA makes (bends) the rules then they are going to survive and keep dragging Scottish football through the shit.
    hail hail

  • drawkcab says:

I fully support hearts bid to sign new players.

I want hearts to be at there strongest when competing against allys pie costs next year.

  • Thomas Haverstock says:

Good bye hearts you and your pals need to be told that you are a sickness in the Scottish game And the sooner the you are put to rest the better for every body Hail Hail JMJ
