Ally McCoist KaraokeDeluded Ally McCoist has spoken of his frustration over being unable to make a move for Kris Boyd.

With Sevco preparing for full-blown crisis mode and supporters split over whether to back the current board or not a financial meltdown seems certain with most of the signs pointing towards administration for the League One winners.

This week should see an update published on Mr Wallace’s fabled 120/127 day review with question marks over whether enough season ticket money has been brought in to meet the April payroll.

McCoist has yet to endorse the season ticket campaign- and bottled out of backing the directors with his 3% shareholding at the December AGM- but despite his lukewarm support for his paymasters has gone public about his transfer war-chest.

“I can’t do anything just now, so things are out of our hands at the moment,” said the man with the second most expensive squad in Scotland having lured Dean Shields, Nicky Law, Ian Black, Cameron Bell, David Templeton and Jon Daly from the top division.

“Kris Boyd is a player who has caught everyone’s eye again this season, scoring the amount of goals he has for Kilmarnock and getting voted into the top four in the Player of the Year awards but there is no point me worrying about something I can’t have an affect on.

“I can’t do anything about anything at the moment. I just have to wait until I get the thumbs up or thumbs down. When that happens, then we can start to get to work on it.”

McCoist enjoys several cups of tea a week with Mr Wallace but claims to be in the dark about the state of the clubs’ finances despite his players refusing a conceptual discussion in January about pay cuts and the club taking an emergency loan in February to keep the lights on at Ibrox and the state-of-the-art training facility at Murray Park.

“I’ll probably sit down with him on Wednesday and Thursday as well,” McCoist revealed about his dialogue with Mr Wallace who used to work for Manchester City.

“I haven’t seen the 120-day review yet. Graham is aware of our position. Everybody is aware. In the grander scheme of things, in the whole situation involving the club, our part of the business is very important and important to the fans. But Graham has the whole club to look after and that is the most important thing.”

Despite calling on fans not to renew season tickets and getting Dick Gough to endorse his plan Mr King has still to publish details of the trust fund that he is proposing to secure Ibrox Stadium and Murray Park against.
