1. Kris CommonsRonny Deila has insisted that there is no fall out with Kris Commons and that he is the type of player to build a team around.

Last season’s top scorer was relegated to the substitute bench for both legs of Celtic’s Champions League ties with Maribor that saw the hoops lose out on a 2-1 aggregate.

Celtic imposed the 12 month option on the midfielder’s contract at the end of last season but with no news on a new deal Commons has been linked with a move back to England.

“I spoke to Kris, he knows that he is an important player, a player that we can build a team around,” Deila responded after being asked about his relationship with the player.

“He’s played nearly everything since I came in but I understand that he didn’t start the games against Maribor, that was nothing about him, it was more about our tactical approach.

“I think that he understood the explanation so there is no problem. Of course he should want to play. I expect him to stay, he is an important player, he’s going to be here at Celtic.”

After losing to Maribor Deila faces a testing couple of days before the relief of the international break. A difficult trip to Dundee comes either side of two days of negotiating in the transfer window with traffic expected in and out.

The formalities have almost been completed for the £2.4m signing of Stefan Scepovic from Sporting Gijon with Wakaso Mubarek likely to feature at Dundee after completing his season long loan deal.
