Europa LeagueArsenal are expected to watch Marcelo Brozovic in action for Dinamo Zagreb against Celtic on Thursday.

The 21-year-old has been attracting scouts since the start of the season with Arsene Wenger believed to be a big fan of the midfield play-maker.

Brozovic is in his third season with Dinamo after making his debut at NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac as a 17-year-old and earning a move to Lokomotiv Zagreb.

During the summer Brozovic was in Croatia’s World Cup squad but despite being on a seven year contract he is expected to leave Dinamo at the end of the season with bids starting at 10m.

Brozovic, who wears the number 77 shirt, orchestrated Dinamo in the 5-1 Europa League victory over Astra in matchday one with Celtic boss Ronny Deila believing that Group D will be a four way fight for qualification into the last 32.

“I think the four teams are quite equal and it’s up to us to use our home advantage, that’s important,” the hoops boss said.

“We have a goal to be in Europe every year and we want to be in the Champions League every year. If you don’t play European games you don’t get experience of that level of football.

“This competition is a good possibility to get experience and also go as far as possible. If you get through the group stages you don’t know what will happen.”

On Saturday Dinamo drew 0-0 away to bottom of the table Slaven Koprivnica but remain top of the Croatian table with 26 points from 10 matches.
