Stevie FrailDarnell Fisher will make his first appearance of the season in tonight’s Development League match against Partick ThiStle.

The 20-year-old was on the bench for the first team at St Mirren on Saturday but has yet to play a competitive game under Ronny Deila.

Last season Fisher made the breakthrough starting 10 first team matches before injury brought his season to a halt in March.

With Mikael Lustig and Adam Matthews both out injured the return of Fisher gives Deila some defensive options although it remains to be seen if he can go straight into the team to face Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday night.

Fraser is joined in the team tonight by Liam Henderson and Filip Twardzik for the match against Thistle with both midfielders featuring heavily in Deila’s pre-season preparations.

After drawing their first two matches against St Mirren and Dundee United Celtic’s development side go into tonight’s match on the back of victories over Dundee and Ross County.

Although titled Development League the competition is effectively a reserve league with five outfield players and a goalkeeper over the age of 20 available for selection.

Celtic have largely stuck with an u-19 side using it to give players an opportunity to test themselves against more experienced opponents.
