Amido BaldeCeltic’s loan bhoys experienced a weekend of misery without a single win bonus.

From Denmark and Belgium to the depths of League Two there was little to celebrate among the players out on loan who never even managed to come up with the consolation of a goal.

In Denmark Teemu Pukki played the full 90 minutes as Brondby lost 1-0 to FC Copenhagen in front of over 30,000 fans at the Parken Stadium. Holmbert Fridjonsson joined Pukki for the last 12 minutes as Copenhagen edged above Brondby in the table with Brondby sitting in seventh place after eight match.

Further south Amido Balde was unable to repeat his wonder goal as Beveren lost 2-0 at home to Standard Liege with Balde playing the full 90 minutes, Tony Watt appeared midway through the second half for Liege.

Closer to home Jackson Irvine played at right-back as Ross County lost 3-0 away to Aberdeen meaning that it’s seven defeats on the bounce for the Dingwall side..

Down a division the roof fell in on Marcus Fraser as Cowdenbeath lost 5-1 to Hearts. The Fifers did manage to level the scores in the first half but the league leaders scored four in the second half.

Dylan McGeouch may be about to be joined by Leigh Griffiths but on Saturday he found himself on the end of a 1-0 defeat at Queen of the South as Hibs poor form continued.

Finally in League Two Aiden McIlduff was in the Clyde team that lost 5-2 at home to Arbroath leaving Barry Ferguson’s team as the strongest in Scotland- holding up League Two.
