green-twitterCeltic fans turned to twitter as they expressed their anger over their side’s 1-0 defeat from Hamilton Accies.

A goal from Ali Crawford four minutes into the second half gave Accies their first win at Celtic Park since 1938 and took the Lanarkshire side back to the top of the table.

Eight games into the league campaign Celtic have picked up 14 points and sit in sixth place with the defeat from Accies coming alongside a loss at Inverness and draws with Dundee and Motherwell.

Patience in Ronny Deila is disappearing fast with the hoops boss presiding over European defeats from Legia Warsaw and Maribor since taking over from Neil Lennon.

Deila has displayed unwavering belief in his system of playing 4-2-3-1 but few supporters seem to be buying into his management style with little signs of progress coming on the park.

And shocking performances like that will make Celtic Park a ghost town,” tweeted Celtic Family capturing the mood of many supporters.

Blame was split between players and manager with the South Wales No 1 Celtic Supporters Club tweeting: “Dont agree with Delia system & baffled by selections most games but still… the players should be able to set themselves up to beat accies.”

The commentary team at By The Minute Celtic tweeted: “Hamilton are celebrating their moment and they deserve the win to be honest. We were lethargic, slack, poor all round really.”

Voicing deeper concerns MinceCFC from the Celtic Minded website tweeted: “Don’t want to sound like a 90’s Tory, but it is time to get back to basics, Celtic. FIRST TEAM FOOTBALL FIRST!!”

Returning to the manager Malkybhoy 67 said: “Really hard to continue defending ronny after performances like that without sounding mental.”

Giving a balanced view on the 90 minutes Creg1888 tweeted: “The overall picture of the season so far is not good for the Norwegian. He’s finding it very tough in Glasgow. Should we stick or twist…”

A sobering analysis came from deasybhoy who admitted: “Shocking thing about the Celtic result is it’s not even a shock..”
