GreenSevco have finally confirmed that they don’t own Ibrox or Murray Park.

The complex transfer of assets between Rangers (IL) onto Sevco 5088 and then Sevco Scotland has been shrouded in mystery with John Brown famously shouting ‘wherzradeeds’ outside the main door of the big house.

Tonight’s development emerged in the latest round of statement issuing on the back of the board’s decision to reject two other bids and accept emergency funding from Mickey Ashley.

Yesterday David Somers and Dave King were trading insults with Sandy Easdale and Brian Kennedy picking up the baton tonight.

First to print send with their statement was Mr Easdale who claimed that Mr King’s £16m offer was a phantom bid aimed at generating publicity for the South African based tyre kicker.

As one fan on twitter commented in was a former VAT fradster slapping down a South African tax crook with Mr King once described as a glib and shamless liar by a judge.

Waiting in the wings was Mr Kennedy who apparently runs struggling rugby league outfit Sale Sharks whose first appearance in the soap opera was in the spring of 2012 as a member of Paul Murray’s Blue Knights.

Mr Kennedy was approached by the club to put together a salvage loan to keep the lights on and after negotiations they came up with a nine point plan which included the following details:

4/The Board of RFC would endeavour in the future to extend this to security over Murray Park as they were unable to grant such at this time.

5/ Ibrox Stadium to be protected in a Trust or similar Legal mechanism that would allow this asset to be used solely for RFC in whatever legal entity to play football in perpetuity.

The deal also involved a new blazer for Paul Murray.

Confirmation that the club is unable to offer security again it’s two main assets will no doubt add a further concern to Deloitte’s who are tasked with auditing the club accounts.

The Worthington Group are believed to have a claim out over Murray Park and Ibrox based on the paperwork that saw the assets move or bypass Sevco 5088 in favour of Sevco Scotland.

If the assets are in dispute it means that any attempt to form another club post liquidation will have to find a new stadium and five star training facilities as the legal profession go to war over the whole sorry mess that was brought to life by the SFA and the highly secretive Five Way Agreement.
