Liam HendersonLiam Henderson was given a 15 minute outing as Rosenborg’s 100% start to the season ended with a 1-1 draw at home to Stromsgodset.

After opening the new season with a 5-0 win followed by a 6-0 victory the draw with Strosgodset left Rosenborg in third place two points behind league leaders Odd who won 4-2 at Bodo Glint.

Tobias Mikkelsen scored in the sixth minute to give Rosenborg the lead with Henderson replacing Freddy Midtsjo just before 37-year-old substitute Peter Kovacs equalised for Stromsgodset.

After the draw Rosenborg coach said: “We are satisfied with seven points from our first three games, we would have taken that before the season started. You’re never happy drawing at home but we have to look forward.”

On Wednesday Rosenborg are away at Vuku in the League Cup followed by a trip to Viking Stavanger on Saturday.

While Henderson had to settle for a draw Dylan McGeouch suffered the heart-break of losing 1-0 to Falkirk in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.

Hibs dominated the match but lost out to a 75th minute goal from Craig Sibbald leaving Alan Stubbs side to concentrate on their promotion push.

Stewart Findlay watched former Celt opened the scoring for Dumbarton against Sevco but Stuart McCall’s full-timers ran out 3-1 victors.

In League Two Paul McMullan was in the Stenhousemuir side that lost 3-2 at Stranraer. With two matches left to play Stenhousemuir are level on points with Ayr Utd but one goal better off as they attempt to avoid the relegation play-off.

Jordan Hart was in goals for Annan Athletic in the 2-1 win over East Fife that leaves them three points off a play-off place with two games left to play.
