lisa hagueThe legend of Lisa Hague went off the radar as Scottish football’s leading WAG joined the bhoys for the title party in Aberdeen.

A crack of dawn start saw Kris Commons other half set off with the Neilston CSC for the favourite trip of the season.

After a few pictures the crew were on the road with the trip north flying in as the hoops support prepared to proclaim the 4-in-a-row champions.

Never slow at coming forward Lisa led the singsong in an Aberdeen pub as the fans whooped up her prediction that there could be another six titles to be celebrated. When she said ‘Kris Commons must never know about this’ the message was probably being delivered to the hoops midfielder as he prepared to board the team bus.

The cameras went into overdrive as one of the favourite chants of the away support was sang by the former choirgirl from Nottingham who probably wouldn’t have known the significance on 10-in-a-row when she ventured north in January 2011.

Rather than hide behind her smartphone Lisa has been hands on since she discovered that the passion and fervour of the Celtic support ran much deeper than anything she’s experienced in the Midlands.

While others have tried to demonise and indeed criminalise the hoops support Lisa has embraced it, not quite literally, with the fans responding in style to her various charity works.

From her backing and support for Oscar Knox through dozens of other great causes Lisa has become the perfect ambassador both for the club and the support even if tomorrow’s memories of Aberdeen are a little blurred.
