development teamCeltic’s u-20 side are in action at Hampden tonight bidding to win the Little Big Shots SFA Youth Cup for the fourth time in five seasons.

Stevie Frail’s side finished runners-up to Aberdeen in the Development League but have the chance to finish the season in style with some silverware.

To reach Hampden the young hoops have disposed of Motherwell, Dundee United, Hamilton and Hibs with a 6-0 success seeing off the Edinburgh side in the semi-final.

In goals tonight Celtic have Jordan Hart who has been on loan at Annan Athletic in the second half of the season.

Sam Wardrop has broken into the side in the last two months and will play at right-back, on the other side of defence Kieran Tierney will be looking to impress after making his first top team start at St Johnstone on Friday.

Eoghan O’Connell has a handful of first team appearances to his name and will partner Stuart Findlay in the centre of defence, Findlay has been on loan at Dumbarton recently.

Captain Connor McManus and Jamie Lindsay, a goalscorer in the 2013 cup win over Dumfermline will anchor the side.

Wide right the hoops will be looking to Aidan Nesbitt to repeat his Glasgow Cup winning performance of last season when he scored the only goal of the game. On the left Calum Waters will be pushing up with Tierney while Luke Donnelly, who scored four times in the semi final will be supporting Paul McMullan who helped Stenhousemuir retain their place in League One.
