All five of Celtic’s on loan players were on the winning side in today’s Petrofac Training Cup.

The draw for the last 16 will be made on Monday with Alloa, St Mirren and Dumbarton all involved with a number of former Celts helping their team’s progress.

Two days after joining Dumbarton on loan Jamie Lindsay, alongside Callum Waters, helped Dumbarton to a 3-2 win away to Morton.

Former Celt Grant Gallagher scored twice for Dumbarton in the first half hour with Garry Fleming scoring the third in the 65th minute.

Along the M8 at New St Mirren Park Paul McMullan made a winning debut for the Paisley side as they beat Berwick Rangers 3-1.

Further north Connor McManus and Michael Duffy helped Alloa to a 1-0 win over Highland League champions 1-0.

Former Celtic goalkeeper Jordan Hart enjoyed a winning start to his career at Annan Athletic as the League Two side beat Airdrie United 3-1. Hart will be joined in the next round draw by Rab Douglas, who helped Forfar to a 1-0 over Montrose, and Robbie Thomson who helped Queen of the South to a 2-0 win over Stranraer with Ryan Conroy scoring the second goal.

At Central Park Cowdenbeat Lewis Toshney put one over on Greig Spence (and Mo Yaqub) as Raith Rovers won the Fife derby 1-0.

In the dug out Mark Burchill watched Livingston beat Clyde 2-1 and can look forward to meeting the same opponents next week in the first round of the League Cup.

A very youthful Celtic XI won 4-2 away to Lowland League East Kilbride thanks to a double from Calvin Miller, a Ciaran Lafferty penalty and a goal from Theo Archibald.
