Jose Mourinho 3Virgil van Dijk and Victor Wanyama helped Southampton to a 3-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge with Jose Mourinho reacting by discussing the possibility of getting the sack.

Van Dijk was part of a Celtic defence that lost two goals to Kilmarnock and Inverness Caley Thistle but found little problem dealing with Cesc Fabregas, Eden Hazard, Oscar and Falcao as the Saints won away from home for the first time in ten matches.

Chelsea took the lead in the tenth minute from a Willian free kick but Southampton were level before the break with Southampton denied a penalty when Branislav Ivanovic almost removed his shirt wrestling the Dutchman to the ground at a corner kick.

Southampton bullied Chelsea through the second half with goals from Sadio Mane and Graziano Pelle giving them a well deserved win as Mourinho went into full self pity mode.

Asked a single question by Sky Sports the Chelsea manager went off on a six minute ramble admitting: “If the club want to sack me, they have to sack me because I’m not running away from my responsibility and my team.

This is a crucial moment in the history of this club because if the club sacks me, they sack the best manager this club had and the message is bad results and the manager is guilty.”

“No way I resign. No way. Why? Because Chelsea cannot have a better manager than me. I want the best for my club and the best for my club is for me to stay.”

Going into detail about his relationship with Roman Abramovich the 52-year-old added: “The owner’s profile all over these years of not speaking is fabulous. I would love to do the same.

“The owner has that privilege. I don’t think the owner needs a word, not even the club, the board, nobody. Not at all.

“When I was contacted to be back, I was told we had so many managers, we know you are the best.

“So I think it’s time for the club to act in a different way, to mark a position, a position of stability, a position of trust.

“Three months ago we were all together in the bus with the cups. I think it’s time for all of us to be together now in the bottom of the league.”

Wanyama and Van Dijk played great against the Jose’s divers. We all know about Seville in 2003 with his bunch of divers. Hail hail the CELTIC.

On MOTD last night went into a rant about Falcao’s dive to try and win a penalty, unsurprisingly Mourinho thought it was a penalty (once a cheat etc etc etc), but when the interviewer mentioned Southampton’s two genuine claims for a penalty he stormed off saying he didn’t want to talk about them. He’s a cheatin wee bassa, a sore loser and is in no way fkn special.

What goes around comes around…..remember Seville ya wee cnut!

A cynical ,arrogant man who hasn’t brought much to the Premiership really….certainly not in the way Wenger did in his early years…..except maybe gamesmanship and encouraging his players to cheat. He has always been a hypocrite and last nights interview when he dismissed Southamptons’ 2 valid penalty claims was typical of him.Don’t think he will be missed if he decides to leave these shores.Of course he won’t “run away”…he is waiting for a pay-off.
