Stefan ScepovicStefan Scepovic came off the bench to score twice in 15 minutes as Getafe beat Las Palmas, including Wakaso Mubarek, 4-0.

The win lifts Getafe into 11th place in La Liga despite losing their three opening fixtures with Scepovic scoring the only goal of the game in their first win of the season, a 1-0 home win over Malaga.

The on-loan Celtic striker replaced Alvaro Vazquez after 78 minutes and promptly scored in the 86th minute then again in stoppage time to secure full points.

Mubarek was booked in the 22nd minute and substituted at half-time but does have the consolation of being based in Gran Canaria after his season on loan at Celtic.

Las Palmas were reported to have been interested in signing Scepovic in the summer and are sitting in second bottom place in La Liga with five points from eight matches.

Elsewhere in La Liga Celta Viga moved into joint top spot alongside Real Madrid and Barcelona thanks to a 2-1 win away to Villarreal. John Guidetti was an 81st minute substitute with Manuel Doran scoring a 90th minute winner.

Next Saturday Celta host Real Madrid hoping for a repeat of their recent 4-1 win over Barcelona.

Closer to home Stuart Findlay played the full 90 minutes as Kilmarnock beat Inverness Caley Thistle 2-0 at Rugby Park. Darnell Fisher was left on the bench as St Johnstone lost 2-1 at home to Partick Thistle.

At Easter Road Liam Henderson helped Hibs to a 4-2 win over Dumbarton who had Calum Waters on the bench, ex Celt James Keatings was among the scorers for Alan Stubbs side.
