DeilaRonny Deila will concentrate on experience when the January transfer window opens.

In three transfer windows in charge the Norwegian has concentrated on the unofficial Celtic policy of targeting players under 24 capable of being developed and sold to the English Premier League.

Following that policy Nadir Ciftci, Dedryck Boyata, Ryan Christie, Saidy Janko and Jozo Simunovic were signed during the summer with Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong recruited in January.

The recent signing of Carlton Cole hinted at a departure from that model with Deila ready to concentrate on experience when the window opens in five weeks time.

We have a lot of talent, but you need leaders or parents to these players to get them to grow,” the Celtic boss explained.

Ryan Christie is coming, Scott Allan, Callum McGregor and Aidan Nesbitt are all younger too – you need leaders around these young boys to get the best of out of them.

We know what kind of budget we have. It is possible. We have to look at players who are important in their teams and not in the biggest leagues. You don’t get a guy from the English Premier League who is playing week in, week out. We also get players who are in their way not good enough for that level, but who want to have a different challenge.”

It’s about finding the right balance….A Pat Stanton or a Lubo would be incredible…but then again a Frank Munro would be a disaster. Hope the scouts are hard at work – Talent is out there, we need to FIND it not wait for an agent to send us a video !!

We stumbled onto Nakamura by chance…when I watched him run a game at Wembley a couple of years beforehand….do the ground work at ALL levels don’t expect them to come to us.

We have heard this before Joe however old king Coles signing was a welcome change there is no doubt in my mind that an experianced centre back and bit of dig to midfield would help the youngsters come on,has Davey Hay or wee Bertie hung up their boots yet? I am excited by the harvesting of young Celtic supporting players but as Williebhoy says its all about balance.

Deila should be concentrating on finding a new job in January, not more bad signings for Celtic

Celtic need a manager with a list of tactics, not just fitting players into a 4-5-1 formation. We didn’t have a holding midfielder in the squad, so squeezing Rogic into it wasn’t going to work.

At 1-1 we were out, we needed a second striker. But when tierney got injured he brought on another left back. It was evident by half time the tactics weren’t working, but he couldn’t see that. Ten Europa league games without a win, and out of the Champions League three times in 12 months.

He’s clearly not up to the standards set by Celtic. Changes are needed right through the club. If there aren’t changes soon, there won’t be six in row (if we even get to five without Scott brooms for three months).

Delia should pack his bags and head back to Norway now and take Johansen with him. We need a change! New ideas and different tactics instead of the same old same old week in week out.

When have you ever seen a Celtic team play at home with 1 striker apart from under this muppet. Should let him go, get someone else in who knows what there doing and put a bit of fight back in to this great club… Otherwise it will be too late and we will end up even further behind with no turning back.

Not asking for miracles just to try and compete at least cause at the min we just not even close to being good enough
