Watch Tom Rogic’s wonder goal at Tynecastle

Tom Rogic was gutted when Osman Sow’s last gasp shot denied Celtic full points at Tynecastle.

The midfielder scored his sixth goal of the season in the 70th minute with a stunning 18 yard strike that deserved to be a matchwinner.

Unfortunately the hoops left Edinburgh with just one point leaving Rogic dejected that his goal was cancelled out.

“We are not happy to take a point, that’s pretty clear,” he stated.”The character we showed, the team spirit and the unity in the squad was pleasing.

“It’s a busy schedule this time of year and we knew that coming into this game so it is important we stay focused and ready for the next match.

“It wasn’t good enough and from the players’ point of view we showed a reaction and were unlucky not to win the match.

“My brother was here to see it so I pointed to him in the crowd. It is up there with one of my best goals but it is hard to take too much from it when we didn’t win the match.

“Any player always wants to play and the more you play the more comfortable you feel.”

The point lifted Celtic clear of Aberdeen with a game in hand over Derek McInnes side with both teams in action on Wednesday night.

Ronny Deila takes his side to Dundee who lost 5-2 at Ross County on Saturday with Aberdeen entertaining in form Partick Thistle at Pittodrie. The Dundee v Celtic match will be refereed by Willie Collum.
