TONY WATTBlackburn Rovers goalkeeper Jason Steele is delighted to see the back of Tony Watt- after playing against the striker three times this season before the former Celt made the move to Ewood Park.

Watt failed to score in his appearances against Blackburn, twice for Charlton and once for Cradiff, but made a big impression on Steele.

After away matches with Oxford and Middlesbrough Watt will make his home debut on Saturday against Hull City and a great chance to use your promo code, with Steele convinced that the Rovers fans will take to the style of the 22-year-old striker.

Tony’s Tony,” Steele told the Lancashire Telegraph. “Every time I’ve played against him, and I’ve played against him three times this season, he’s done my head in!

You come off the pitch and you think, ‘yes he’s a player’.

Sometimes you come off the pitch and players aren’t as good as you think they are, but every time I have come off the pitch after facing him I’ve rung my dad and said, ‘he’s a player’.

All the lads feel the same. We’re all dead close here and when you come off the pitch you give your mate a nudge and say, ‘he’s not bad, is he?’

And we’ve all said it the three times we have played against him this season.

We’re definitely lucky to have him and hopefully he gives us that something we have been missing.”

Blackburn are 19 points off a play off place, and six above the three relegation slots, but have two games on hand over their Championship rivals and a home tie against West Ham in the FA Cup to look forward to on February 21.
