Aidan Nesbitt fanAidan Nesbitt has joined Partick Thistle on loan until the end of the season.

The talented 18-year-old made a five minute substitute appearance against Raith Rovers in the League Cup and was on the bench for yesterday’s match against Ross County.

Nesbitt came through the ranks with Kieran Tierney with both players starring in last season’s 5-2 SFA Youth Cup Final against Sevco at Hampden.

While Tierney has grabbed his chance with both hands the amount of attacking options available to Ronny Deila has kept Nesbitt on the sidelines.

Moving to Partick Thistle will give the hoops season ticket holder the opportunity to get regular first team football starting with Wednesday’s re-arranged match at home to Motherwell.

Nesbitt signed off in style today for Celtic with a double in the 3-0 win over Sevco in the Development League match at Lennoxtown.

Patrick Roberts joined Celtic on an 18 month loan at lunchtime today with Colin Kazim Richards signing a two year deal after negotiating his release from Feyernoord.

On the way out Nadir Ciftci moved on loan to Turkish side Eskisehirspor with Annan Athletic taking young defender Jack Breslin on a similar deal. Paul McMullan has returned to Celtic from St Mirren.

Elsewhere on deadline day Aiden McGeady joined the growing ex Celt connection at Sheffield Wednesday where he’ll team up with Gary Hooper, Ross Wallace and Glenn Loovens.

In Scotland Hearts are close to signing John Souttar from Dundee United with the Edinburgh side banking over £1m from the sale of Osman Sow to a club in China.

That does it for me. I have tried to get on board with the Ronny & Johnny show but enough is enough. Signing a proven trouble maker with an appalling scoring record then sending a free scoring young Celtic fan with huge prospects on loan is the final straw. There will be a vacancy in the south stand rear (east) next season. I will always be a fan but I am not fucking supporting that shite. Fuck that.
