Nadir Ciftci opened his scoring account for Eskisehirspor in the 3-3 home draw with Akhisar Belediyespor.
The point ended a four match losing run for Eskisehirspor with the on-loan Celtic striker opening the scoring in the eighth minute.
Ciftci moved to Turkey on the final day of the January transfer window and was sent off on his second appearance after being substituted on his debut.
The draw lifts Eskisehirspor onto 18 points, the same mark as Sivasspor- five points short of safety in the 18 strong Super Lig table.
Ciftci controlled a throw in with his back to goal for the opener, burst through the Akhisar defence then exchanged passes before firing his shot past the approaching keeper and was fouled for the free kick that put Eskisehirspor two goals in front.
While Ciftci was breaking his scoring duck there was despair at Hampden for Anthony Stokes and Liam Henderson as Ross County beat Hibs 2-1 in the final of the League Cup.
