Celtic’s u-17 side completed their ‘home’ campaign tonight with a 1-0 win over Hibs at Cappielow.

Captain Fiacre Kelleher scored the only goal of the game in the 11th minute with not much in the way of chances created between two well matched teams.

It was win 27 out of 30 for Tommy McIntyre’s side, with just two matches left, away to Aberdeen and Motherwell as they look to complete the season unbeaten.

There were six changes to the side that beat St Mirren on Thursday with the most natable being the return of Jamie McCart and Fiacre Kelleher in central defence while Ciaran Lafferty was given a start up front in place of Calvin Miller.

Celtic started strongly against the Edinburgh side and deservedly took the lead in the 11th minute through Kelleher. A corner from the left fell awkwardly at the back post but the hoops skipper managed to connect hooking a shot across goal into the net.

It was mainly traffic towards the Hibs goal but there were few chances until the closing minutes when Thomson shot against goalkeeper Sean Brennan when put through one-on-one quickly followed by Lafferty hitting the bar from a tight angle as he reached a cut back.

Early in the second half Mark Hill surprised Brennan in the Hibs goal with a snap shot from 25 yards but his effort slipped just wide of the post.

CELTIC: Hazard, Ralston (Blair Kidd 76), McCart, Kelleher, Higgins; McManus, Hill; Wardrop, Thomson (Payne 87), Hendry; Lafferty, Thomson
