Rodgers5Gloating Tory Murdo Fraser has backed up the Sevco rant/statement blaming the SFA, BB, SNP and Hibs for the trouble following the Scottish Cup final.

The list Member of the Scottish Parliament is well known for his devotion to the clubs from Ibrox and claimed that Her Majesty would be celebrating the Tribute Act’s win over Celtic despite being denied millions in tax by the club currently being liquidated.

Fraser kept a lid on his emotions immediately after Saturday’s defeat but latched onto the tweets of his Tory colleague Adam Tomkins who also failing to be elected in a constituency and took the back-door route to Holyrood as a list MSP.

Tomkins failed to comment on the repeated anti-catholic singing and smoke bombs through the match but was quick to describe the pitch invasion as disgraceful and frightening. Perhaps he felt comfortable listening to the anti-catholic singing?

Rather than comment directly on the events at Hampden Fraser decided to hang onto the coat-tails of Tomkins by retweeting the deflection policy and ignore the singing.

Fraser retweeted Tomkins asking: “Why were Hibs fans able to reach Rangers players before they had left the pitch? How can that be compatible with security arrangements?

Followed by: “And why did it take several minutes for mounted police to get on the pitch? Only once they appeared did things start to calm down.”

Earlier Fraser had retweeted the incredible statement from Ibrox to his 8,000 followers that asked: “While endorsing their supporters decision to come onto the pitch at Hampden the Sevco statement asked: “It must also be said that it was not at all helpful to see leading members of the Scottish Government, including the First Minister whose parish is Govan, passing comment on social media without any attempt to condemn the behaviour of Hibernian’s fans. These failures are unbecoming of our elected representatives.”

Mark Warburton hasn’t made a single comment since watching his lose to Hibs and miss out on a place in next season’s Europa League qualifiers.
