Sevco have written to supporters arrested in the aftermath of the Scottish Cup Final- informing them that they are banned indefinately after shelling out for season tickets.
Fans of both clubs played at chases following Hibs’ 3-2 win over Mark Warburton’s All Stars.
The SFA have still to publish their report and hand out punishment for the scenes that shamed the nation as armed police struggled to cope with the fans and attempted to clear the pitch.
Television pictures and social media sites published footage of the troublemakers with tickets for the Ibrox club’s allocation restricted to within the ranks of their own season ticket holders.
According to a report in the Daily Record Ibrox security chief David Martin has written to fans stating: “: “It has been brought to my attention that you were arrested at the above match.
“As you will be aware the purchase of a match ticket is deemed to constitute unqualified acceptance of all the ground rules and regulations.
“Your arrest is a breach of these regulations and has brought the reputation of this club into disrepute. Rangers FC has made it abundantly clear it will not tolerate any form of unacceptable behaviour.
“I write to inform you that with immediate effect you are banned from attending all football matches involving Rangers FC, home and away, for an indefinite period.
“In addition we are checking our database to see if you have a current season ticket and should, this be the case, we would inform you that your alleged criminal conduct will result in your season ticket being forfeited without compensation.”
Sandy Chugg, one of the leaders of The Sons of Struth fans group, has twice had life bans from Ibrox.
Hibs have also handed out bans to supporters arrested at Hampden although it’s believed that the majority of those arrested are from the west of Scotland.
