Celtic face Everton this afternoon in the final of the NI Super Cup at Ballymena with a 5.00pm kick off.
The match will be broadcast live by You Tube who also showed Celtic’s 3-1 win over Real Sociedad on Thursday night.
Although the event is for u-21 sides the majority of the hoops squad are eligible to play at u-19 level.
Last season Celtic won the Development League without losing a match with Tommy McIntyre using the games in Ireland to get his squad battle hardened for facing Annan Athletic in the Irn-Bru (Challenge) Cup.
Speaking to the Celtic website the hoops coach said: “We’re now at the stage where players are getting 90 minutes so we’ve built it up from 45 to 75 to 90, so it’ll be a really important next two weeks for us leading up to the game against Annan Athletic, and then the Development League starting.
“They are getting there. Last night we were really pleased with the level of fitness from the players. They really put a shift in and they will enjoy it more. They’ll get more out of it, they’ll feel better knowing they did that, and we’ve got good players on the bench who can just come on and slot into the system. So they all know their role and we’re pleased at the end of the day.
“It’s another game, another one under the belt and we can learn from this one – what the good things are, what we need to improve on and then take it in and see how we fair against Everton.”
