Chris Sutton’s twitter account is fast becoming one of the most popular links for Celtic fans.

Most celebrity accounts seem excessively monitored and moderated with the author, or PR company, giving away as little as possible while appearing to be connecting. Not Sutton.

Like his punditry, on television, radio and print the former Celtic striker isn’t afraid of his opinion and doesn’t care about who he might upset along the way.

Cristian Gamboa is close to an unknown quantity in this country with outings for West Brom few and far between.

With another crop of signings arriving at The Hawthorns his chances this season will be even further restricted with most Celtic fans in the dark about the defenders ability.

Sutton’s views on most things are black and white with West Brom boss Tony Pullis a figure that divides English football in two.

Like Sam Allerdyce his results demand admiration but for some the method of play is just too basic and ugly to be acceptable.

Without fully putting the boot into Pullis Sutton made his views on Gamboa crystal clear by suggesting that not getting into the West Brom side was almost a badge of honour.

Most Celtic fans have taken the motto of ‘In Brendan We Trust’ to transfer dealings, it seems that ‘In Pullis We Dismiss’ is the mantra of Sutton with the Costa Rican now emerging from the West Brom wilderness into Champions League contention.

Curiously as Celtic fans await a big name, or more specifically a marquee signing, Sutton believes that, presumably with Scott Sinclair, that that deal has already been completed.
