Police Scotland have issued an urgent appeal for a missing 34-year-old from Liverpool last season in Glasgow’s east end yesterday afternoon.

Answering to the name of Joey it’s unusual for him the individual to go missing with radio stations and newspapers among those concerned about his welfare.

Joey loves to be the centre of attention although recently he has reportedly been unhappy and concerned about a number of issues relating to his work place.

In normal circumstances the 34-year-old is easily recognisable with a dubiously black head of hair and high pitched voice offering opinions on almost everything.

Most recently the big hearted Scouser was sharing his concerns about the welfare of Brendan Rodgers but it looks like that may well have been a plea for help by Joey who has recently been living in such diverse outposts as Marseilles and Burnley.

Voicing his concerns of TalkSport Joey said: “The places he goes and the places I go probably differ with the tan and the teeth. They’re not the kind of establishments I rock up at. I’m not having a mid-life crisis!

I might run into him he goes up to Loch Lomond and I play golf up there.”

4852101-1Despite great promises of what he would do against Celtic the relegation specialist has barely been seen in action this season.

After losing a drop ball to Scott Brown he retreated into defence and was last see in looking uncomfortable trying to shake hands with Rodgers and Brown.
