Brendan Rodgers has no worries about Moussa Dembele or Scott Sinclair making a sharp exit.

After a couple of months at Celtic English clubs are sitting up and taking note of the duo who slipped almost unnoticed north of the border during the summer transfer window.

With a combined tally of 24 goals Sinclair and Dembele have played a major role in Celtic’s impressive early season form as Rodgers shapes the squad around to his way of operating.

Celtic can’t get close to competing on financial terms with English sides but having made the same move Rodgers believes that there is more than wages involved in a transfer deal.

With crowds in excess of 50,000 for home games and the most atmospheric arena in the Champions League to enjoy Rodgers is certain that his top scorers are in no rush to cut short their stay in Glasgow.

There’s a lot of talk around a lot of the players but I think they know they’re part of something special as well,” the Celtic boss explained.

Young guys like Moussa have come up here at 19, and they knew why they were coming.

They knew they were coming into a coaching environment at a huge club which is going to extend them and test them under pressure.

So, he’s loving and enjoying every minute of it, boys like Scott Sinclair, with a Premier League background, he’s come up here and he’s shown that. He’s really happy and some of these guys will tell you that means everything – especially those experienced ones who have been unhappy.”

Rodgers added: “It’s a club that is a real privilege to either manage or play for. The boys are finding that out.”

After coming on and scoring as substitutes at Ross County Dembele and Sinclair will start tomorrow’s top of the table clash with Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
