Midway through the second half of last night’s Champions League clash with Barcelona the lights went on to salute Celtic’s greatest ever team- the Lisbon Lions.
As soon as the clock struck 67 thousands of fans switched on their mobile phones and held the lights up to create a spectacular starry scene prompting more pictures and videos.

Despite the disappointing scoreline the evening was another success for the Celtic support as they again went the extra miles to ensure a special European occasion.
The light show was followed by the fans singing In the Heat of Lison- another tribute to the side build by Jock Stein that broke the Latin monopoly of the European Cup.
Throughout the season there will be various events to recognise the greatest team that Scotland has ever produced ranging from a change strip apparently designed to commemorate the colour of the ticket used in Lisbon through to more localised supporter led events.
