Celtic’s Development side are in u-23 Premier League International Cup action at Norwich City on Wednesday night, kick off 7pm at Carrow Road.

Last week Tommy McIntyre’s side won 3-0 at Aston Villa with a repeat of that result certain to book a place in the last 12 of the competition.

Villa and Norwich have both defeated Valencia with the group stage of the tournament involving one match between each club with all games being played in England.

This is the third season of the competition with Celtic the only Scottish club invited to take part.

The u-23 element, plus overage players, allowed Logan Bailly, Gary Mackay-Steven and Dedryck Boyata to play against Villa with Celtic’s domestic commitments put on hold for November.

At u-19 level Celtic take on Barcelona next Wednesday before completing their PLIC group against Valencia on Wednesday November 30.

No venue has yet been set for the match against Valencia.
