Celtic’s potential league clincher against Sevco has been put back 24 hours to Sunday March 12.

With Aberdeen at home to Motherwell the previous day the hoops could be in a position to put the title out of reach with TEN matches still to play.

At present Celtic have a 19 point lead over Sevco with a game in hand and a 21 point lead over Aberdeen with the same number of games played.

If Celtic win their game in hand and beat Sevco they’d be 25 points ahead of Mark Warburton’s side with ten matches left to play meaning that five more dropped points would kill off #’goingfor55 in it’s tracks.

Before visiting the champions elect Warbo must take his side away to Motherwell, Dundee, Hearts and Inverness Caley Thistle.

During March Sevco also face court action from Mike Ashley regarding the Rangers retail deal while BDO take the big tax case to the Supreme Court in a final appeal against paying out to Her Majesty for a decade of tax cheating by the previous club.

Celtic’s next three SPFL fixtures are all at home, if the Bhoys take full points from St Johnstone, Hearts and Aberdeen the picture will become much clearer.

Should Celtic continue to take full points and Aberdeen fail to win two of their fixtures before March 12 the Sevco clash could be a league clincher.

Having pumped the tribute act three times already this season Celtic would be strong favourites to take full points on route to a whitewash.
