Celtic have recovered the cost of damages to the toilets at Celtic Park on September 10 by withholding £40,000 of ticket money from the December 31 match at Ibrox.

According to a report in The Sun the action was taken after three months of requests to the Ibrox club to repair the damage caused by their season ticket holders at the first ever league match between the two clubs.

Celtic fans were disgusted to see the damage done to toilets with no sign of Police Scotland on hand despite considerable damage.

Sevco never made any comment on the issue and refused to communicate with Celtic while the SPFL preferred to leave it upto the clubs to resolve the matter.

With no sign of a cheque from Ibrox to cover the damage Celtic deducted £40,000 from their ticket sales for the December 31 match to cover the costs of repairing the toilets.

Sevco are next due to visit Celtic on March 12, with further soft loans required and legal costs at the same time Celtic may ask for the ticket money to be paid in advance.

In 2012 Dundee United and Dunfermline both lost out on ticket money as Rangers went into administration with ticket money owed to both clubs.
