Moussa Dembele has retweeted a ‘NO TO RACISM’ video clip after footage emerged of the Celtic striker being abused at Ibrox.

Lionel Messi, Gareth Bae and Cristian Ronaldo are among the player featured on the anti-racism message.

The striker equalised for Celtic in front of the Copland Road stand with one fan, almost certainly a season ticket holder, heard yelling racist abuse at the young Frenchman.

Social media was quick to condemn the incident but there has been no comment from the football authorities or Police Scotland who claimed to be operating a zero tolerance policy at the fixture.

Despite thousands of home fans regularly singing their hatred of catholics only three arrests were made during the match.

Dembele joined Celtic in the summer from Fulham and has been one of the main reasons for the success of Brendan Rodgers side.

His goal on Saturday was his fifth this season against the Ibrox club and took his overall tally for the season to 19.

West Ham are the latest club to declare an interest in the 20-year-old but both the player and his manager have made it clear that he’ll be remaining at Celtic for at least another 18 months.
