Mikael Lustig is the latest Celtic player to commit himself to the club.
The Swedish full-back signed from Rosenborg five years ago with his wife Josefin confirming the new deal until 2019 on her own website.
She stated: “Mikael’s contract is ending this summer. We have been in Glasgow 5 years. Lucia have almost been living here her whole life, she was just 4 months when we moved here. Lexie is born here. Glasgow is a big part of us. When you live this football life you never know where you will be in a few months, or even weeks, days.. We have been lucky to be in the same place for so many years. That’s good for the kids. We won’t leave Glasgow yet, Mikael is signing a new contract with Celtic today so we’ll be here for a while!”

Lustig has been Brendan Rodgers first choice right-back since the start of the season despite the signing of Costa Rican right-back Cristian Gamoa in August.
Since joining Celtic he has played at the 2012 and 2016 European Championships as well as three Champions League campaigns.
Alongside Scott Brown and Emilio Izaguirre he is one of three survivors of all five title wins with a sixth medal expected in March.
Earlier this season James Forrest and Tom Rogic signed new contracts with Stuart Armstrong and Craig Gordon expected to be next to sign a contract extension.
