Celtic transfer target Henry Onyekuru has again been left out of the Eupen side to play Toyal Excel Mouscon tonight.
The striker went AWOL before Thursday’s match against Standard Liege and hadn’t made his peace before tonight’s match.
Eupen go into tonight’s match six points ahead of bottom placed Mouscon and looking to consolidate their place in the top flight.
Celtic are believed to have put in a bid of £1m for Onyekuru who has scored 10 goals in 22 Jupiler League appearances.
After speaking out in favour of moving to Celtic the 19-year-old discovered that Eupen were trying to sell him to CSKA Moscow and RB Leipzig.
Also involved was a change of agency with Celtic caught up in the internal politics of the Belgian club.
Brendan Rodgers was without Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths today and has admitted that he had hoped to complete more transfer activity this month but will remain on alert to any developments for Onyekuru.
