Paddy McCourt is back in the news after signing for Finn Harps.

The much travelled 33-year-old has wowed fans wherever he has played and left magic memories for supporters and You Tube to indulge in.

Fan’s favourite is a term that is easy to use but in the case of McCourt it is easy to justify.

After returning to Ireland following a spell with Rochdale he found himself joining Celtic in the summer of 2008.

McCourt seemed an unlikely Gordon Strachan signing but under Tony Mowbray the man from Derry kicked off his hoops career.

Mowbray’s reign was short lived but it did provide McCourt with a platform- one that was highlighted in an end of season break away to St Pauli.

By this stage Neil Lennon was in charge, sometimes McCourt seemed his safe-blower other times his boss seemed less convinced.

For anyone needing convinced a look at that clip explains the magic of McCourt with fans of Finn Harps and their LOI opponents are in for a treat.
