Kieran Tierney wants to learn a new song about himself!

The teenager has kept Scott Sinclair and Dedryck Boyata upto speed with the fan songs in their honour.

Both songs are very different but have worked their way from the stands into the dressing room with Tierney ensuring that the original versions by Billy Joel and Supertramp are part of the pre-match build-up.

The young full-back recently spent two months sitting in with the fans as he recovered from injury and would love to hear a new song about himself.

“I always learn the songs and tell the boys all of them, so if there is a new tune I will let the boys know,” Tierney told the Celtic View.

“I told Scotty and Dedro about theirs, and whoever made them up deserves something special as both the songs are brilliant.

“If my music is on in the dressing-room, I will play both songs, ‘We Didn’t Start the Fire’ or the ‘Logical Song’. Scotty’s song gets you going and Dedro’s song is a bit different in tone but they are both great tunes and whoever is behind them is a genius.

“They both love them as they are good tunes … I was just gutted that they weren’t about me.”

Since returning to the side against Albion Rovers Tierney has started every match as the hoops maintain their incredible domestic record.

Saturday’s win over Motherwell was their 20th consecutive win in the Premier League, opening up a 24 point lead over second placed Aberdeen.

It was however almost a costly win with Tierney on the end of a shocking challenge from Ryan Bowman but fortunately he only suffered cuts and bruising with no lasting damage to his left knee.
