Celtic’s Development side made it three wins in a row last night with a 3-2 win over Motherwell at Dumbarton last night.
It was a very youthful Celtic side with four of the substitutes called up from the u-17 squad including Ciaran Diver who scored a first half hat-trick in the 8-0 win away to Hearts on Wednesday night.
Goalkeeper Aidan McAdams was with the first team squad at St Johnstone on Sunday and was given a starting place with Conor Hazard on the bench and on stand by for the first team against Caley Thistle.
19 min: PJ Crossan took a pass 30 yards from goal, shrugged aside one challenge then drilled a great shot into the net from 20 yards out.
26 min: Mark Hill gets the break of the ball 20 yards from goal and drills a low shot into the net (caution you may hear a sweary as Motherwell give away possession).
33 min: Great trickery from Sam Wardrop out wide, his cross into the penalty box is met by a firm header from Crossan, burying it from six yards out.
Motherwell pulled two goals back in the second half but were unable to take a point, on Monday Celtic face Hearts in the Development League at Ochilview with a 7.30pm kick off.
