Chris Sutton has slammed John Beaton’s display today in Sevco’s 6-0 win over Hamilton Accies.
The Lanarkshire based official made two astonishing decisions that favoured the home side with a number of highly debatable decisions that helped Sevco into the semi-final draw.
Early in the first half Beaton and his assistant failed to red card Wes Foderingham after the keeper collected the ball with his hands at least a foot outside of the 18 yard box.
Ten minutes into the second half Joey Garner took a full bloodied swipe at Dougie Imrie that hit the Accies midfielder on his hip.
After taking his time and consulting his assistant Beaton produced a yellow card with Garner going on to score two more goals.
