The new look to Celtic Park looks more like a corporate letterhead than a celebrations of a unique football club.Â
For seven years supporters approaching the Jock Stein and Lisbon Lions Stands have been greeted by huge images of some of the greats that created magic moments.Â
Alongside the Lisbon Lions were heroes from other eras, pre-war Jimmy McGrory and Patsy Gallagher, from the fifties Neilly Mochan and Willie Fernie plus more recent legends like Paul McStay, Henrik Larsson and Tommy Burns.Â
Whoever thought this was a good replacement for the previous banners shouldn’t be anywhere near decision making at Celtic. pic.twitter.com/bUodrrRojY

Last week fans at the match against Blackburn Rovers noticed that the banners/posters were down with social media hints at a makeover.Â
This morning Paul Larkin has been at the ground early- and underwhelmed by the replacement for past heroes.Â
Perhaps there may be more still to be revealed but not many fans are going to look up and remember the great games of the past as they look at a glorified letterhead.Â
