  1. Why don't you get off strachans back? I'm a celtic fan and he done a great job at celtic the last season went wrong but you can't blame the man. Now he's at middlesbrough and hasn't won yet, he can't turn it around just like that middlesbrough has an awful team adam johnson is the only exception. The reason he isn't playing well is because his mentors gone and he's in the championship that would be demoralising considering the boys ability. As for automatic promotion places "fading fast" it only takes a few wins to be back in there the league is that tight. This articals just anti-strachan.

  2. Totally agree McAuley.
This article is just an excuse to have a go at GS.

A change of manager doesn't suddenly make your players better over night. I'm positive that WGS will do a tremendous job there once the players get used to the way he wants them to play.

He did a fantastic job at Celtic.

    Give him a break ffs.

  3. I don't think Strachan will be bothered by anyone's opinion other than his own.

He was a more successful Celtic manager than Martin O'Neill, a phrase that many Celtic fans find hard to admit to.

His last 12/18 months at Celtic were pretty poor, he galvanised the team to win eight on the bounce to win the league at Tannadice but either side of that there wasn't much to celebrate or enjoy.

The problems he encountered in the last five months of his time at Celtic seem to have resurfaced at Boro, how he deals with that is of interest to me and many Celtic supporters.

  4. Well, I reckon Strachan has set back Celtic at least 5yrs, he has destroyed the club spirit, wrecked our signing policy and underachieved with HIS signings. His best season (facts) were due to MON players at his disposal.

If you plotted goals for, against, attendance and european coefficient (which he road on the back of MON points tally for seedings) you would get your answer.

I fail to see it any other way – just plain facts.

    …still sore at his appointment.
