Henrik’s LBoIS move to a point behind league leaders

|

Henrik Larsson’s Landskroner BoIS beat league leaders Norrkoping 3-1 at home last night to move to a point away from top spot.

Four wins and a draw from their last five matches have taken LBoIs from mid-table into a challenging position for promotion to the top division.

After a goal-less first half Freddy Karlsson put the home side into the lead in front of 2,526 supporters but Norrkoping equalised nine minutes later through Brazilian Danny Bamberg.

LBoIS weren’t to be denied however with substitute Linus Olsson restoring their lead before Karlsson secured the points with ten minutes left to play.

On Wednesday LBoIS travel to face mid-table Assyriska! while Norkopping are at home to Orgyte.

The top two teams in the Superetten are automatically promoted into the Allsvenskan with the third placed signed going into a play-off with the third bottom club for the final place in the top division.
