Henrik Larsson’s LBoIS move into third place

|

Henrik Larsson’s Landskroner BoIS moved into third place in the Superetten with a 2-0 win away to Trollhattan yesterday.

Freddy Olssen notched two first half goals to stretch LBoIS unbeaten run to five games.

LBoIS official website, on a google translation, quotes assistant manager Hasse Eklundclaiming that Henrik Larsson had switched off!

Next up for LBoIS is a home match on June 12 with league leaders Norrkoping with a win taking LBoIs to within a point of top spot.

As his former Celtic team-mates prepare for a Friends Reunited in the technical area the King of Kings own management career seems to be starting impressively out of the public eye in the Swedish Second Division.

The win over Trollhattan was watched by just 1,254 supporters with LBoIS’ last home match, a goal-less draw with Sundsvall attracting a crowd of 2,434.

The Swedish season will continue on throughout the World Cup.

Only a matter of time before the Master Blaster takes his charges where he wants them to be. Single minded in management as he was in playing, he’s a surefire bet to succeed as only someone of his ilk can. Delighted for him that he’s still getting as much enjoyment from the game as he gave others. Hail Hail.
