Falkirk are hopeful of taking Jason Marr and Mark Millar on season long loan deals.
Bairns boss Steven Pressley knows both players well from his time at Celtic and is looking to bolster his squad for next season’s First Division campaign.
Midfielder Millar spent part of last season out on loan at Ujpest Dozsa before returning with Willie McStay.
Marr’s season was badly interrupted by a head injury received during a friendly with Barrow and would have hoped to have figured in the first team if it wasn’t for that incident.
With Josh Thompson and Thomas Rogne both involved in the first team a season long loan at Falkirk is a more appealing prospect for Marr than waiting for fixtures with the Celtic development squad.
These early deal would suggest that the development squad will be very thin next season with most players either in the u-19 youth squad or part of the first team.
