Defender Jos Hooiveld will miss Celtic’s Europa League clash with FC Utrecht on Thursday.
The Dutch defender was booked in both legs of Celtic’s Champions League ko from Sporting Braga which brings about a one match UEFA suspension.
Once the Champions League and Europa Cup group stages begin it takes three bookings to collect a suspension but only two cards are required for a suspension in the qualifiers.
Hooiveld has started all three of Celtic’s matches this season but will require to be replaced against his fellow Dutchmen with Milan Misun the likely partner for Glenn Loovens.
Thursday’s match will be refereed by Svein Oddvar Moen of Norway who recently took charge of the Young Boys-Fenerbache Champions League qualifier where he dished out six yellow cards and sent off former Sheffield United striker Colin Kazim-Richards in a 2-2 draw.
