Irish bhoys on target as Celtic beat Bohemians

Daryl Murphy and Richie Towell were on target today as a strong Celtic XI beat Bohemians 4-1 at Dalymount Park.

Neil Lennon listed an attack minded team including Murphy, Gary Hooper and Anthony Stokes with Hooper opening the scoring in the 24th minute with a low shot into the net.

Before the half hour Murphy doubled Celtic’s lead with Irish u-21 internationalist Richie Towell putting Celtic three up on the hour mark.

Dominic Cervi replaced Lucasz Zaluska in goals with youngsters Bahrudin Atajic, Islam Feruz and James Keatings  given a run replacing Hooper, Efrain Juarez and Glenn Loovens.

Bohemians did pull a goal back with five minutes left to play through David Ludola but former Waterford striker Murphy restored Celtic’s three goal advantage before the final whistle.
