Another dinosaur is accusing 'one SPL club'

Queen of the South chairman David Rae has accused one SPL club of creating the weekend referee strike.

Since Rae is unwilling to name that club Celtic should perhaps consider recalling Ryan Conroy from his loan spell until Rae names the club that he blames for the aggro.

Following the lead of George Peat in making big noises without naming names the QOS chief is concerned that Sunday’s glamour Alba Cup Final could be effected by the strike!

Speaking to The Sun today Rae said: “There should be an apology from a chairman in the Premier League – and you are well aware of the one it should be.

“I’m not naming him or his club. I felt his comments were out of order and over the top.

“An ex-politician is used to the Houses of Parliament where they slag each other off all the time. But that’s politics.

“When you are chairman of a football club you have to respect officials and people around you. Especially referees.”

Amazingly Rae believes that referees and HUGH DALLAS are due an apology from this un-named club.

He added: “I have some sympathy for refs. There has been too much criticism thrown at them. The chairman in question went over the top and the referees and Hugh Dallas are due an apology. That has to happen and things have to get back in order.”

There will be Champions League football in Dumfries before Celtic apologise to Dallas after he broadcast the lie based cover-up on radio on successive nights about the events at Tannadice.

Respect is a two way street. When an official overturns his own decision, lies to a manager and those lies are repeated by the head of refereeing there is a definite lack of respect.

Dougie Dougie’s feeble excuses and failed attempt to phone Neil Lennon adds to the lack of respect.

But since it’s Neil Lennon on the receiving end Rae doesn’t seem too bothered. Nor is he concerned that an internal investigation is being carried out into allegations that Hugh Dallas sent out an offensive email linking the pope to child abuse.

Rae did finally turn his attention to one of the real culprits of the story- George Peat, President of the SFA.

Peat’s comments yesterday will never lead to an approach from ACAS with Rae suggesting that the former Airdrie supremo is out of touch.

He added: “I’m concerned and want a word with George Peat. The SFA appoint the refs and it’s his job to find officials to run our game on Sunday.

“It’s an all-ticket game and everything has been organised, so they have to find officials to run it.”

GOOD LUCK TO ROSS COUNTY AGAINST RAE’S TEAM ON SUNDAY

David Rae is typical of the people within Scottish football if there is a problem it must be Celtics fault.

This attitude has held Scottish football back for god knows how many years.

Lets hope if his game is on they get pumped and if not we rid Scottish football of this type of character.
