CSKA took the lead ten minutes later through Seydou Doumbia with Wagner Love completing the scoring in the final minute.

Spartak must lift themselves for Tuesday’s home clash with Marseilles. After winning the opening group match in France a draw should be good enough to take Spartak into the last 16 with their final match away to Czech outfit Zelina.
